Turtle Raphael is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle who wears the red eye mask in the TMNT series. He is Leonardo’s younger brother - in fact, he is the second youngest of the Ninja Turtles. His weapon of choice is the sai, a Kabudo weapon, of which he normally carries two.
In the animated series where the Ninja Turtles first became famous, Raphael typically shows a sarcastic sense of humor that makes him the funniest of the Ninja Turtles. In other versions of the story, Raphael shows a cynical, impulsive side that represents the darker part of his personality.
